TFE Tape Duplex

TFE Tape is a fluoropolymer suitable for use up to 500 F (260C), and is flame retardant and non-propagating in fire conditions. TFE is a heat fused tape spiral wrapped over individual conductors forming a seamless layer of insulation. Conductors are laid parallel and jacketing is applied thought similar process creating a duplex construction. The product is moisture/chemical resistant and provides a low friction when pulled. This construction also provides all the benefits of FEP with a higher temperature rating.
