TE Wire & Cables
economical, ready to use, patented AUTOCLAVE Thermocouple has
unique design characteristics which reduce vacuum leakage during
use. The key to the effectiveness of the TE Wire & Cable encapsulated
AUTOCLAVE Thermocouple is its unique, proprietary, single extrusion
thermocouple wire with molded-on connector construction, which
virtually eliminates leakage. The construction consists of special
grade limits of error thermocouple wire with a welded junction
and permanently molded, high temperature standard size connector
(miniature molded connectors are available). AUTOCLAVE Thermocouples
are available in a wide variety of lengths, conductor sizes and
insulation materials. Calibration Type J, K, T and E thermocouples
are available. Standard insulation materials, including FEP, PFA,
polyimide tape, and B-Fiber/Glass (synthetic polyamide fiber blend
with a fiberglass outer jacket), provide extensive operating temperature
ranges to fit a wide variety of applications. Other insulations
with temperature ratings up to 2200°F (1204°C) are available
(molded connector is limited to lower rated operating temperature).
Every unit is tested for circuit integrity and correct polarity.
In addition, the TE Wire & Cable AUTOCLAVE Thermocouple meets
MIL-STD-105 Sampling Procedure for Inspection and MIL-I-45208A
Inspection System Requirements.

Thermocouple material is normally supplied
to meet tolerances above 0C (32F). If material is required to meet
tolerances below 0C (32F), the purchase order must so state. Special
selection of material is required.
Suggested initial calibration tolerance. Requirements should be
discussed between purchaser and supplier. |
